Pak-Sher has been an innovator in the design and manufacture of carryout and kitchen prep packaging since the early 1970's. Pak-Sher invented many of the packaging products used throughout the restaurant, deli and grocery industry today. Pop-up Quicksheets® were originally developed for service delis as a solution to customer complaints of "soggy" paper sticking to their sliced deli meats . More recently, Pak-Sher designed the easy on-off food handling Sher-Mitt® to minimize potential cross-contamination in kitchens. The Sher-Mitt is now being recommended by local health departments for protection of naked or gloved hands from cross-contamination in kitchen prep areas. Items such as our patented 2-cup drink carrier and catering bags for party trays were all Pak-Sher innovations. Today, Pak-Sher is taking the lead in developing a complete line of fully compostable plastic packaging.
